Guaranteed Opportunity
This is a sponsored program with industry-leading financial firms that offer opportunities for those wishing to start a new career that is financially rewarding while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Telemarketing, cold-calling, door-to-door, etc, roles are not a part of this program. Only legitimate opportunities are presented to participants.
Please note: the services provided are for those desiring a career in financial services. Accounting/bookkeeping positions are not available through this program.
A person participating in this program selects:
• The area(s) of finance that they find to be interesting as a career option.
• The type(s) of opportunities that best fit their lifestyle (part-time, transitional, full-time), and their career aspirations.
• The firms they would like to interview with after being presented with the opportunities that best fit their career preferences. Careers Canada will help to secure you a position with the participating firm of your choosing.
This is a national program with a placement rate of 82% in 2022. If an individual is accepted into the program, they have a high probability of being placed with a firm that best matches their career aspirations. Currently, we are working with 17 financial organizations across Canada.
Again, there are no fees to enrol in this program.
The following types of opportunities are being offered by participating financial firms:
• Part-Time (approximately 5-15 hours a week)
• Transitional (starting part-time with the intention of eventually moving to full-time)
• Full-Time (30+ hours a week)
A person may select the type of opportunity that best fits their lifestyle and career objectives.
Currently, there are new opportunities available in the following locations:
• The Lower Mainland, BC
• Edmonton and Calgary, AB
• Saskatoon, SK
